ATB LAUNCHES NEW ENHANCED SECURITY DOOR FOR HOUSING ASSOCIATION PROPERTIES

The new aluminium door suite from ATB Secure is ideal for use in Housing Association properties where a robust, anti-vandal aluminium security door or screen is required.

Typically doors found in social housing specification are a mixture of different types of security additions, but the ATB door combines all the requirements to conform to DD171: 1987, but with bespoke extrusions. This bespoke security door features a heady duty extrusion design incorporating a 12SWG grade 304 stainless steel continuous hinge, anti-leverage door profiles and security beads, coupled with perimeter weather strips and DDA complaint threshold.

For further enhanced security, ATB Secure’s door can be fitted with either regular glass or Hammerglass, the unique ‘new generation’ polycarbonate sheet, 300 times stronger than glass and almost unbreakable or ATB’s unique anti-vandal protection mesh. All can be easily replaced or added as required, without the door having to be dis-assembled, saving time and money for the housing association.

The door suite also has an integrated anti-tamper electro-magnetic lock door post to offer controlled access holding force of over 700kg, as well as a surface mounted LCN4111 Cush-N-Stop closer.
