ARGE – THE EUROPEAN HARDWARE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION ARE PROUD TO LAUNCH THEIR NEW WEBSITE

The new ARGE website www.arge.org has just been launched

This year ARGE invested in a new website from the British Web design company, Hullabaloo.

ARGE and Hullabaloo worked together to provide users of the site with an informed and trustworthy point of reference.

The new site sets out to achieve the following:-

  • To become the recognised centre of expertise on hardware standards.
  • To act as a platform to drive ARGE’s sustainability agenda, and, support our lobbying campaign.
  • To attract and engage members and visitors.

The new ARGE site has been visually revolutionised. It uses strong photography, a bold logo and contemporary black header bars. ARGE’s Chairman, Jorma Sirén, stated “This new Website looks like the Website of an important European Trade Association”.

The new site uses colour coded navigation and a clear user-friendly layout. Testimonials give voice to the members to express what ARGE means to them. The newly added Frequently Asked Question page will respond to visitor’s questions explaining about ARGE and answering important lock and hardware industry questions.

Fifteen European National Associations make up ARGE’s key members. The members section of the website allows visitors to access the contact details of these groups. These 15 members represent 252 Manufacturers of Locks and Hardware in total. A search facility in the website allows visitors to choose reputable manufacturers by product category or by country or by a combination of both.

A criticism of the previous site was that the content did not change regularly enough to keep users interested. With the new features, such as the Forum, this makes the new website more dynamic.

Take a look for yourself at www.arge.org and let us know what you think via the Forum http://arge.org/forum
