In the latter part of last year, BGID’s Fire Check Roller Shutter was subjected to the intense heat of a 2 hour Fire Test to European Standard EN 1634-1 at the Exova Warrington Testing Facility.
The door passed with flying colours (well glowing red colours as the picture shows!) The test was conducted with the door fitted with a tubular motor and safety brake – so BGID can now offer a Fire Rated Roller Shutter requiring the very minimum of headroom.
