LIGHTS, CAMERA, INSTALL!

UNION, part of Security Solutions, a division of ASSA ABLOY UK, has launched a series of ‘how to’ videos, demonstrating how easy it is to install Eximo, its panic and emergency exit device offering.

The videos feature the Eximo® range, which contains panic exit products - suitable for use on exit doors and routes within public buildings in accordance to BS EN 1125, where in a crisis the exit route is unfamiliar. Making them ideal for applications such as hospitals, schools and leisure facilities.

Conversely, the products available under the Eximo® emergency exit range are designed for use in buildings in accordance to BS EN 179, where users are familiar with the exit routes and procedures – making them a crucial feature in offices and commercial developments.

The series showcases how to install, use and adjust the range, With all Eximo® products also being fully retro-fittable with the market’s popular products – the range is a great advantage when working on refurbishment projects.

Ian Barlett, Head of Product Management at ASSA ABLOY, said
“We launched the series of Eximo® videos to offer a simple, step by step guide of how to install our panic and emergency exit device offering.

“The videos reveal the time and effort installers can save by using the range, for instance presenting how any fine tuning to adjust units can be done centrally, rather than at the top of the door.

“UNION’s Eximo® Installation videos highlight how the products allow installers to prepare for any kind of call, from new builds, to emergency repair and retrofit jobs. We hope the ‘how to’ videos make it even easier for installers to fit the range, so they are able to move on to their next jobs quicker.”

The ‘how to’ videos show how to install UNION’s Eximo®:

801 Single Door Panic Exit Bolt Device
803 Single Door Panic Exit Latch Device
804 Single Doors Emergency Push Pad
805 Outside Access Device

UNION’s Eximo® range is guaranteed for ten years, Certifre approved and CE marked.
