SOMMER Leads The Way In Industrial Door Operation

The new range of GIGAsedo industrial door operators from SOMMER is proving very popular with UK customers thanks to a range of useful and innovative features.

The entry level operators with integrated dead-man switch and electronic limits is specially designed for doors with non-demanding requirements, whilst smooth and powerful it is also clever, allowing you to set up limits and change motor direction at ground level via the three button pad. A long service life is assured thanks to diecast aluminium gear housing, special bronze worm wheels, life-long lubrication with selected lubricants and a high-quality electric motor.

The ease of installation and programming of the SOMMER industrial door control unit are also proving a hit with customers. The control unit has been designed to operate sectional, high speed and roller door motors meaning only one version of control unit can be held in stock.

"This range has already proved popular across Europe and our UK customers are equally impressed," says Theuns Liebenberg, Technical Sales Manager at SOMMER UK. "As word spreads about the functionality and reliability of these models sales will undoubtedly increase."
