Your remote GfA engineer – the GfA-Stick

GfA-Stick – a new diagnostic tool for service teams & fitters

Door fitters and maintenance engineers can now receive even more help and support from the GfA technical team.

By using the GfA-Stick and accompanying GfA+ App fitters and engineers can read and display information from GfA control devices on their smart phones, tablets and other compatible devices, and more importantly they can share that information with the GfA tech team to get real time, hands-on help.

Plug the stick into the control panel to read fault
and performance data

The GfA-Stick plugs into the limit switch ports on GfA TS 959, TS 970(S2) and TS 971 control panels. After successful connection, the identified control appears on the smart device display and the data can be downloaded. In addition, there is an area where free text can be entered which could include data relating to the panel’s location, the contract number and so on.

All data is saved remotely in the cloud via 3G/4G or WiFi and accessible at any time for the user to discuss the findings with our technical support team.

Download usage and fault code data direct to your smart phone

An ideal tool for maintenance engineers the GfA-Sticks could also be left with a building’s facilities management company when the door is installed, allowing the door company to assess and diagnose an issue remotely.

Watch the You Tube video to see how easy this fault diagnostics tool is to use and how it has already benefited customers in the Middle East.
