Part of the Heart of England NHS foundation trust, the Good Hope Hospital, which began life as a large Victorian house, is now a modern medical facility, home to the Partnership Learning Centre, part-funded by the University of Birmingham. The hospital has undergone numerous extensions and refurbishments, the latest of which being the opening of a new treatment centre, in 2005.
As part of its continual update and refurbishment programme, Laidlaw, an architectural ironmongers, have supplied UNION's KeyULTRA(tm) 6pin master key system, which has been installed throughout the hospital, providing improved key control for NHS security and facilities managers.
With one of the longest patents on the market, lasting until 2028, based on its DuraPIN(tm) technology, this prevents the unauthorised copying of keys on the high street, providing the hospital with complete key control and permitting access to authorised personnel only.
