The new Deedlock Biometric Reader from leading security and lock experts Securefast Tate Colson represents the very latest technology in integrated biometric identification.
Designed as stand alone access control system or with the option of a computer link via RS485, USB or TCP/IP cabling, the ergonomically styled AMULT1700 offers the ultimate combination in security verification, including Face, Fingerprint, PIN recognition and optional RFID mode.
The high definition 75mm TFT touch screen, with infrared facilities, registers facial identification algorithm capturing the relative position, size and shape of the recipient's eyes, nose, cheekbones and jaw line. The biometric reader distils these captured features into values and then compares the information with stored template data to eliminate variations.
The AMULT1700 can store up to four hundred facial images without the need for sub groups and incorporates a default mode of Fingerprint and Face identification, thereby creating a double check access control system. To facilitate the level of security required, the unit can be linked to an electronic lock, door sensor or doorbell.
