Hörmann (UK) Ltd is planning for the future, announcing that Domestic Sales and Marketing Director, David Newcombe, will take over from MD Richard Warom in 2013. With over 17 years experience in the garage door industry Newcombe is ideally placed to manage the challenge of growing the business by building on the excellent foundations and success achieved under Warom's stewardship.
Commercial Director, Alan Jenkins will continue to head up the industrial division, which is now recognised as the market leader in both industrial doors and loading bay solutions.
This experienced management team at Hörmann has also been expanded by the recent appointment of Shirley Dixon to the new role of Commercial Manager for the domestic division. This new role brings together customer service and product support to improve service to both customers and consumers. Service to the domestic customer has also been boosted by the appointment of Amy Fisher, as Field Sales Support Administrator. The new position gives direct head office support to key accounts and the sales teams. This dedicated link will speed up response times and give the sales teams more time with customers.
