SUN TRADE WINDOWS GETS DIGITAL WITH YALE KEYFREE

Sun Trade Windows has become the latest trade fabricator to offer digital door locking solutions and add Yale Door and Window Solution’s innovative Keyfree digital door lock to its product portfolio.

The PVCu window and door systems fabricator has recently adopted Yale Door and Window Solution’s Keyfree lock to offer customers the very latest in door security, enabling them to access their home without a key.

The Keyfree digital door lock allows keyless entry either through a push button remote keyfob or by entering a combination code into the lock. Battery operated, the standalone unit is fitted to new doors and comes with a voice guide that advises users when the door is secure and a built in alarm to prevent tampering.

Sun Trade Windows presents Keyfree as a continuation offering of Yale Door and Window Solution’s YS170 multipoint lock solution. Both have been designed by Yale to function as a compatible system.

Graham Davies, Commercial Director of Sun Trade Windows said: “Keyfree represents Sun Trade Window’s first offering of a digital entrance system, as we instantly saw the market potential for our customers.

“We had no doubt that Keyfree offers very significant lifestyle benefits for every member of the family, and hence provides a strong upsell option on new doors.

In addition to being insurance approved and tested to police standards, by coming from Yale which is already known as being the home security specialist, there is extra assurance that security has not been compromised at the price of convenience.”

Sun Trade Windows already offers a complete range of quality and weather resistance panel doors with Yale’s YS170 multipoint locking system as standard.

Paul Hattrick, Business Development Manager at Yale Door and Window Solutions added: “As a leading trade fabricator of PVC-U window and door systems, Sun Trade Windows has embraced the need to offer innovative high security solutions, without compromising on aesthetics.

“By adopting Keyfree, Sun Trade Windows instantly adds value and really boosts the sales potential of its panel door ranges. Backed by YS170 offering a high security multipoint lock, installers and end users can be assured that this trade fabricator has invested in top product solutions that meet their requirements.”

Keyfree is a standalone, battery-operated unit, designed for installation on residential doors, including composite, PVCu and timber. It’s easy and hassle-free to fit, as there’s no need for hardwiring or electrical support.

Designed to satisfy PAS 24, Keyfree has undergone rigorous testing to achieve an IP 55 rating for water and dust protection. Its also proven to be highly durable, having achieved 200,000 usage cycles, in line with BS EN 1906:2002. For more details, please visit www.yaledws.co.uk.
