Supplying access control systems that keep people moving safely and securely

Leaderflush Shapland Laidlaw designs, manufactures and installs access control systems that manage and monitor the flow of people around a building, granting free movement to authorised staff, while limiting the access of others where necessary.

During the specification process Leaderflush Shapland Laidlaw collaborates with architects and contractors to develop solutions that address project-specific issues, ensuring, whatever a building’s purpose, its users are able to move around it securely, safely and conveniently.

Access control manager David Crawley said:
“We’ve been working with access control systems for a long time and understand how to create bespoke solutions for our customers, whose needs can vary greatly from sector to sector.”
Leaderflush Shapland Laidlaw’s experience across several sectors means it is able to design systems that meet the requirements of each building. These systems can incorporate a variety of solutions including: automated internal and external doors, proximity access control, online validation that allows real-time access rights, biometric access control and workforce management systems.

Mechanical master keying can be used in conjunction with electronic access control systems to provide extra security, with smart card technology offering the ability to create a variety of access permissions in the same building. Disabled access, locker security and CCTV linked monitoring are also available and where combating the spread of infection is critical, products are supplied with an anti-bacterial coating.
