The Housebuilder Product Awards reward excellence and innovation, celebrating products and systems which aid new home development in the UK. P C Henderson’s Securefold Ultra was shortlisted by the judging panel looking for products that offer a solution to the challenges, regulations and standards facing housebuilders.
Housebuilders are now required to build homes to a unified security standard under Building Regulations - Part Q: Security. The Securefold Ultra system can help meet the requirements of Approved Document Q as it has been certified to UK specific PAS 24.
It utilises a three point locking system on every external door seam and a unique interlocking anti-tamper hinge, making it difficult to be forced out of position or dismantled. The system’s multi point lock, featuring anti-snap and anti-bump cylinder, provides additional security on the swing door to withstand attack from the most determined intruder. The cleverly designed system provides an additional layer of security using enhanced security components creating one of the most secure systems on the market.
If successful in June, Securefold Ultra will be automatically entered into the ‘Best Product’ category of the Housebuilder Awards 2016 in November with the chance of being crowned ‘Product of the Year’ as winners.
