Gliderol, a leading manufacturer in the UK and Ireland garage door market has recently invested in a number of new green efficiency vehicles with the latest driver technology, as replacement to its current fleet.
These latest additions to the Gliderol fleet are all Daf Euro 6 CF trucks, which are THE benchmark vehicles for long distance road transport and have been designed for maximum transport efficiency and have allowed Gliderol to significantly lower carbon emissions.
Consideration was also given to driver ergonomics and safety systems including Lane departure warning systems (LDWS) and Adaptive cruise control (ACC) and Forward collision warning (FCW), with automatic braking using distance trackers.
Bespoke state of the art lifting equipment has also been added to each of the trucks, this will mean a driver can deliver, for e.g., a 5m x 5m door with the minimum of effort and without any assistance.
