With a no-deal Brexit still not off the table, there is still a risk of the UK crashing out of the EU according to Michel Barnier in The Independent on Wednesday.
And with official government papers and senior cabinet ministers warning of civil unrest - following a potential ‘no-deal’ Brexit - a leading security specialist is urging UK businesses to make sure they keep their staff and premises safe.

A section of the document supplied by the Home Office says:
“Protests and counter-protests will take place across the UK and may absorb significant amounts of police resource. There may also be a rise in public disorder and community tensions.”The document also states that ‘Public readiness for a no-deal will remain at a low level’ and that ‘larger businesses across sectors are more likely to have better developed contingency plans than small and medium sized businesses’.
