Hart Door Systems has appointed Sebastian James as area sales manager for the South East to help increase its presence in the region.
The company, based in Newcastle, is a long-established and pioneering designer and manufacturer of commercial and industrial doors.
Sebastian, born in the UK, emigrated to South Africa as a child. He has since had a lengthy career in the door industry with Roll-Up Serranda, the oldest and biggest roller shutter door manufacturer in South Africa. The company manufactures custom made industrial roller shutter doors for the industrial, commercial and domestic industry.
With more than 30 years in the industry Sebastian has a wealth of experience, which includes specifying and tailoring designs to meet the needs of customers.
In his role with Hart Door Systems, Sebastian will engage with current customers and contacts and develop relationships with new companies. Based in Kent, Sebastian will be working across the South East to increase Hart Door System’s profile in the region.

The company, which has been operational throughout the Covid-19 lockdown supporting customers in key sectors, has implemented a number of new manufacturing processes to ensure the safety of its workers and all those who they come into contact with.
