After another successful year, the Industrial Door company has announced plans to extend its network of depots to service the South West of the UK, an expansion on their existing presence in the North West, North East, Midlands, and South.
In addition, Lowland Doors based in Wishaw near Glasgow, which BID Group purchased in 2012, Is to be rebranded BID Scotland and moved to larger premises in nearby Bellshill.
The company’s head office based in Westhoughton, Bolton and in-house specialist teams, will work alongside the team in the South West to offer installation, service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a wide range of Industrial Doors, Dock Levellers, Rapid Roll Doors, Gates, Barriers, Personnel and Automatic Doors.
BID Group’s General Manager Jim Smith expained:
“We already have a good business base in the South West area and are looking to build further on that success, so it made sense to establish a sales and operations team there”.
The Bristol depot opened for business in September with a team of qualified engineers on site. The depot is headed up by Regional Manager Lee Roper.
Lee Roper added:
“Its proximity to existing customers has already proved beneficial in terms of efficiency and economy. It’s also reassuring for customers to know that BID Group now has a presence on their doorstep.”
BID Scotland will build on Lowlands success north of the border and is led by Regional Manager Crawford McEwan, who will continue to deliver the same uncompromising quality that has helped build the BID Group brand and to retain a strong portfolio of clients that includes many of the best known UK brands.
