Specialist manufacturer of timber fire and security door-sets for the social housing, public sector, commercial and residential markets Sentry Doors have renewed their membership with the official police security initiative Secured by Design.
Operating nationally from a 33,000 square foot facility in Doncaster, Sentry has established a strong reputation over the years for manufacturing products that meet the most rigorous quality and fire certification standards.
Sentry Doors was founded by Gordon Yates in 1989, starting as a family business in Doncaster that operated from a 12,000 square foot site. The company went from strength to strength and in June 2018 moved into a 33,000 square foot site with room for expansion.
In February 2019 the family sold the business to Cairngorm Capital to facilitate further investment in the business and enable further development.
As part of their ongoing mission to promote transparency when it comes to fire safety testing, certification, and compliance, Sentry Doors have recently launched their Compliance Portal which provides their customer base with easy access to their range of certification documents including SBD certification.
