Employees at leading garage door manufacturer Garador are establishing a strong reputation for their charitable activities.
The latest effort to help others is from Garador’s shop floor worker Nick Boon, who started the year training hard for a local half marathon race.
He has now just completed the 13 mile race in 1 hour 47 minutes, raising £285 for the local Yeovil Hospital Charity.
Garador’s Managing Director Jon Watson said:
“It was a great effort as it was a challenging route, going out into the country before returning to the hilly centre of Yeovil town.
“All the money raised goes to help the local hospital buy essential equipment, a very worthwhile cause.”
