Hörmann UK has announced that Birmingham-based Doorfit have been presented with Dealer of the Year as part of their 2023 Partner Standard awards.
After coming close last year, Doorfit have come out on top this year and is a well-deserved winner, not only having continued to achieve high sales of Hörmann products but also demonstrating excellence from the top to the bottom of their business.
The award comes in a busy year for Doorfit who are also celebrating their 70th Anniversary, having started trading in 1953 from a Victorian house in the center of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Now 70 years after it was first founded, 2023 sees Doorfit still growing and enjoying considerable success.
They are one of the largest independent garage and entrance door suppliers within the UK market, supplying the supply and fit, trade and commercial markets. Equally important is the fact that Doorfit is still a family-owned and run business, being led by Robert and Philip Neil who are fully involved in the business and instrumental in its day-to-day operation.
Commenting on the award, David Close, Director of the garage door division at Doorfit,

So winning this award really is the ‘icing on the cake’ for us in this celebration year.”As part of their prize, Doorfit will receive a hospitality package to attend Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival races in March, together with accommodation. They were also announced winners of the Installation of the Year and The Partner Standard Ambassador.
