Last month, Staffordshire composite door manufacturer and supplier Comp Door celebrated their second birthday and marked the milestone with a catered pizza lunch for their hard-working staff.
Having launched in late 2021 with a team of just two, the path to Comp Door’s success has been a testament to its dedication to expansion, innovation, and industry improvement.
Founded only two years ago, the Comp Door team didn’t manufacture their first door until March 2022, spending their first four months developing and refining their designs.

When the company was launched, its aim was to use its almost a century’s worth of combined industry experience at the management level and restore the reputation of composite doors through attentive customer service, sturdy design, and long-lasting finishes.
Two years on, Comp Door is now producing 500 doors per week and employs a staff of almost 60, with 1 new hire joining the team per month on average to support the impressive expansion.

None of this growth and success would have been possible without the hard work of the dedicated staff. Comp Door know that without a team that genuinely cares, their products wouldn’t be of the high standard they are, and significant expansion wouldn’t have been possible.
That’s why the managers at Comp Door decided to host a catered pizza lunch from Nonnina’s Mobile Wood Fired Pizza, to thank their staff for their efforts.

Looking at where the company is now compared with November 2021, it’s almost unrecognisable. It makes me immensely proud to think of how much this company has achieved, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible staff we have at Comp Door.
“Whether they have been with us since day one or for one month, each employee’s hard work and dedication make this company what it is, so it made sense that we mark our second birthday by saying thank you to our team with a delicious free lunch on site. It was a wonderful day, and we can’t wait for many, many more birthday celebrations for Comp Door!”
