EasyGates Distribution and ASO have recently proudly announced the opening of their brand new showroom and training facility, located within EasyGates’ 13,500 square foot base in Halesowen, West Midlands.
This new facility will not only be a state of the art space for keeping up to date with all gate automation safety legislation, but it will also provide an area for practical demonstrations and the chance for people to have a hands on learning experience. The 1200 square foot training room has been fitted with full presentation facilities and different automated gate installations to replicate scenarios a gate installer may have to deal with on site.
Following on from the success of the Gate Safety Conference 2012, EGD/ASO have been even more determined to ensure and enable all gate installations are up to Government Health & Safety Legislation and look forward to working with the Door and Hardware Federation in developing courses to facilitate this goal.
“Part of our long term plan is to be a resource base for safety training and support within the gate automation industry.” Says EGD’s managing Director Tony Gooding.
“We are aware that having a demonstration area and giving people the chance to actually see the practical application of safety measures, can be a very valuable tool in ensuring installations are all conforming to current safety legislation.”
