Says Kevin Hill, Managing Director of Yale Door and Window Solutions:
“The Scottish Government has made clear its objectives to ensure both domestic and non domestic buildings become more energy efficient, and at the same time drive forward a low carbon economy.
“The CMS Innovation Hub is a crucial step in its own design, to show how even the most derelict of buildings can achieve these aims.
And by introducing products such as Yale Blade that is now on show at the hub, we, together with Sealco Scotland, are showing our own commitment to helping the industry transform more homes and buildings quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.”
Derek Malcolm, Managing Director of Sealco Scotland adds:
“It was good to meet with the other companies at the launch. The idea to bring companies under one roof to work in collaboration has been well received and we are already talking with different suppliers to see how we can work together in the future. The relationship we have with Yale is important to us. We work very closely with them to bring the best hardware solutions to customers in Scotland.”
The hub is an available resource for builders, architects, specifiers and private sector, as well as homeowners, to explore the most advanced products available and discuss requirements with manufacturers.
Alongside the exhibition space there is a seminar room for up to 90 people as well as break-out meeting spaces, available for use by local schools, colleges and community organisations to discuss issues around climate change and sustainability.
