DHF's Training Academy at Tamworth |
With training at the very heart of its on-going crusade for better industry standards, Tamworth-based trade association, DHF, was delighted to announce last week that it will be resuming face-to-face training sessions at its secure on-site training academy in Tamworth.
The pro-active federation was one of the first trade associations off the mark to implement online training courses to its members following ‘lockdown’, but welcoming delegates back to its Tamworth head office site, in person, is a positive sign that ‘normal life’ is restarting.
In addition, DHF has announced a ‘new member’ benefit to encourage even more members to join the more than 500 professionals already on its books. A 10% discount on the first year of membership awaits all those keen to become part of the DHF ‘family’; a welcome perk in the current COVID-19 crisis, particularly with uncertain times ahead.
“DHF continues to lead the way with its pioneering initiatives and has been unwavering in its commitment in keeping members updated in the current pandemic,” explains Head of Commercial Operations, Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens.
“The 10% discount represents our continuing ethos of always putting our members first. We are here for them.” The new membership incentive will be available until the end of July 2020.
In a ‘good news’ week, DHF has also announced that, from June 1st, it kick-started face-to-face training courses at its Tamworth-based head office. The federation is fortunate to have a spacious on-site training academy, at which delegates can learn safely and whilst adhering to social distancing requirements.
The association has left no stone unturned in ensuring the well-being of its training attendees, with hand sanitiser available to all, face coverings available to those who request them, and just six delegates in total on each course, in a space that usually accommodates 25.
Courses are unchanged, although the two-day course will be spread over a week, preventing the need for delegates to source overnight accommodation, presently not possible.
