Assa Abloy’s Journey from Mechanical to Digital Security at IFSEC 2016


ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, will be exhibiting its journey from mechanical to digital security at IFSEC 2016. 

ASSA ABLOY’s leading brands will showcase their product breadth that comes from years of expertise in the industry and has formed the solid grounding for introducing its innovative digital solutions. The group’s journey from mechanical to digital security will be on display at stand E1100 in Hall S7 of Excel, London, from 21-23 June.

ASSA ABLOY will demonstrate how its future-proof solutions, help to mitigate risk across a wide range of end user markets, including the commercial, education, health, transport, retail and residential sectors.

Visitors can expect ASSA ABLOY’s stand at IFSEC 2016 to be the most impressive to date, as the groups leading brands Yale, ASSA ABLOY, Abloy and Traka, will showcase their strength in digital technologies.

ASSA ABLOY will feature its new key-based eCLIQ electronic locking system, which is more durable, secure and efficient than conventional locking systems, offering programmable keys and compact cylinders that minimise the risks associated with lost keys. The electronic locking system is suitable for all project types and brings particular end user benefits when applied to frequently used doors and places with high staff turnover or multiple access requirements.

Aperio® wireless access control technology, which expands new and existing systems, will also be on display. The new features of the established, leading Aperio® product line will be revealed, including the Aperio® V3 platform that improves the reaction time of its wireless locks and has powerful electronics that enable remote unlocking commands to pass from access control systems to doors and locks almost instantly.

ASSA ABLOY will demonstrate how data centres can ensure that their sensitive data is protected against unauthorised access with the award winning Aperio® KS100 Server Cabinet Lock. For small to medium sized businesses SMARTair™ wireless online access control system will also be showcased, demonstrating how cost effective door management can be achieved without the associated complexity of wiring.

Abloy will showcase its new One CLIQ solution for commercial environments, as well as the innovative CLIQ® Connect technology that enables keys to be activated through a smartphone.

Traka will demonstrate that it is the leading provider of intelligent management solutions for keys and equipment, showcasing intelligent gun lockers, Traka Web software and its Touch Technology solutions.

Research commissioned by Yale, revealed that smart security is one of the most popular drivers for the smart home; Yale will demonstrate how they are at the forefront of developments within Smart Living technology.

Yale will showcase its innovative Smart Living products range for the residential market that includes standalone security products, such as smart locks.
