Garador Stresses Winter Security Importance

With long dark winter nights and chilly temperatures, burglars are often active at this time of year and so garages can be a key target for burglars.

Valuable equipment is stored in garages, such as cars, tools, home office materials, gym equipment and much more. Plus once inside a garage, a burglar can often more easily get through to the side or back of the house to gain entry there, out of sight of any passersby.

UK garage door manufacturer Garador is well aware of this and has developed a range of Guardian garage doors which are Secured by Design accredited. The Secured by Design accreditation shows that they have been tested by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) to withstand a break-in by a burglar. The Guardian range is Britain’s first range of Up and Over doors, and includes the Carlton, Horizon and Salisbury models.

Garador offers a range of garage doors, from Up and Over doors and roller doors through to sectional doors, each with proven security features. Ensuring a secure garage door in any build, is a big selling point for builders and a big plus for home owners – and the best choice has to be a door from Garador’s specialist Guardian range.

The Guardian range has been engineered specifically to offer an extra level of security – without compromising on the design and functionality you have come to expect from a Garador garage door. Guardian range doors have additional back braces on the inside of the door for greater rigidity, as well as improved and reinforced locking systems to prevent an attack on the locking mechanism.
