JD (UK) Ltd Launches a New Roller Door (With A Difference!)

JD (UK) Ltd. is recognised across the door sector for two things: supplying quality Alutech components used in garage door fabrication, and distributing the Alutech sectional door through its national network of accredited sectional door dealers.

But the company has now added a new string to its bow, one that will benefit manufacturers and installers alike.

This is the launch of the Alutech Insuroll – an insulated roller garage door, manufactured with Alutech components and Deprat and ZF barrel and locking systems.

But the company will not manufacture the door..... Instead - to provide the best possible service and delivery terms - the product will be made by JD-approved manufacturing companies and then delivered directly to the installer.

All products will be fully CE marked and have a choice of automation systems to suit budget and specification requirements. Both 77mm and compact 55mm doors will be available in a range of colours, including the contemporary Graphite and Chartwell Green along with many old favourites, in over 20 different options.

The JD sales team has a stock of marketing materials, along with samples of the Deprat and ZF locking systems, to highlight the benefits for both the installer and end user.

The launch of the new door presents a win-win situation, as installers can now buy doors from reputable producers, so they know they are getting a quality door, and JD will pass sales leads from these installers on to the manufacturers.

Steve Hudson MD of JD (UK) explains more:
“Installers have long been asking us if we could make doors for them, but the answer has always been ‘no’, as we don’t want to compete with our many manufacturer customers. But the Insuroll door is the perfect answer to this problem, as we are using our manufacturing client base to produce a quality door to our high specifications, for our installers. Customers can now be confident they are buying a door that has only Alutech components, rather than a hotch-potch of parts as many manufacturers supply.”
Steve adds: “Our new web site has been generating a high number of enquires for sectional doors, which are all being passed to our dealers to convert. We are now able to offer the same service for roller door end-user enquiries and these will all be passed directly to installers that buy the Insuroll roller garage door. So I’d urge anyone looking for a new roller door manufacturer to contact their JD regional sales manager.”
