Bradbury Group helping staff combat cost of living crisis

Leading security product manufacturer, Bradbury Group has committed to offset the cost of living crisis for its 200 strong staff force.

Launched at the start of the year, the Scunthorpe-based door manufacturer’s newly launched initiative will see every member of staff receive £300 in food and drink vouchers to spend at the group’s on-site canteen throughout 2023, as well as providing donated subsidised food parcels, opportunity to attend financial workshops facilitated by Ongo and HSBC, and a generous pay increase.

Tim Strawson, Group Chairman said:
“The rising cost of living is impacting the majority of the nation, so implementing new schemes to support Bradbury Group staff on more of a long-term basis is important to us.”
He added:
“Every employee that works on-site is eligible for our lunch scheme, food parcels, financial guidance and pay increase benefits, regardless of where in the business they are based or how long they have been a part of the group.”

The food parcels – which save employees an average of 66% off the RRP per parcel - are readily available in return for a small donation to charity.

Bradbury Group has also announced the launch of a brand new bonus scheme to further help staff offset rising energy and living costs.

As well as the newfound financial aid, Bradbury Group employees are provided a range of wellbeing resources, including four in-house Mental Health First Aiders for those struggling and needing immediate support and access to the EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) from Health Assured.

Strawson added:

“We want to lead by example. We’re sharing our newly developed bank of internal resources in the hope that other business will take notice and follow suit, reducing some of the financial pressures for families across the country,”
