Gliderol Garage & Industrial Doors outperforms it’s Year 1 forecasts following acquisition

Gliderol, a leading manufacturer in the UK and Ireland garage and industrial door market has reported a significant rise in turnover with higher than expected double digit growth.

Gliderol, which offers a full range of door types including roller, up and over and sectional has seen a sharp rise in customer numbers across all sectors.

Managing Director Roy Sinclair said:
“Our business is moving from strength to strength, with strong sales across all product lines. We have performed above expectations in our first full year and are now looking ahead to the next twelve months with some exciting opportunities in the pipeline with which to further our growth”.
“We are committed to providing the best quality products in a timely and efficient manner backed up by excellent customer service, we have built a sales support team internally and externally to make sure we deliver to customer expectations at the point of sale and a warranty and technical support team to ensure that we continue those high standards thereafter”.
“Our aim since the acquisition has been to invest in the business for the long term future and with significant support from our shareholders, Panacea Investment Group, we have been able to focus on delivering and executing a well thought out strategy.”

The last year has certainly been a busy one for Gliderol relocating to a new purpose built manufacturing facility, along with showroom and training centre. Additional investments include an entirely new fleet of trucks delivering reliably and regularly to all parts of the UK and Ireland and also major investment into product development with more in-depth CE testing and the current quality system ISO 9001 upgraded to 2015 standard.

Reflecting on all the developments since acquisition, Dan Summerfield Gliderol Executive Chairman and Panacea Investment Group Co-Founder, said:
“2017/18 are going to be key years for us as a business.
