Hörmann's dealers at the Porsche Driving Experience Centre at Silverstone |
Industrial and domestic door manufacturer Hörmann (UK) Ltd. has rewarded its top performing dealers with an unforgettable driving experience at Silverstone.
The Leicestershire based firm revealed the exciting sales initiative at its Gala Dinner earlier this year, announcing that it would be looking for an increase in sales from its dealers between the first and second quarters.
The reward strategy was introduced as a way to promote new business as well as encourage stronger working relations between area sales managers and the dealer network.
Hörmann announced its front-runners last month and invited them to the world-renowned racing track for an action packed day at the Porsche Driving Experience Centre. The day consisted of a variety of exciting activities, with the lucky winners even getting behind the wheel and receiving one-to-one tuition from specialist Porsche driving consultants.
Participants experienced the likes of the 911 Carrera - one of the most highly praised sports cars in the world, the powerful Boxster and Cayman, the Panamera, and Macan. They also enjoyed an off-road demonstration of the beautifully versatile Cayenne.
The experience culminated with a tour of the Porsche Human Performance facilities. This specialist sports science laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, offers a variety of tests to provide a greater understanding of driving-specific health and fitness levels.
David Newcombe, managing director of Hörmann commented:
“We wanted to give something back to our fantastic dealer network as a way of thanks for their continued support of the Hörmann brand. The Porsche experience day seemed a fitting way to do this and we’ve had great feedback from all who took part. For more information on Hörmann’s product range and service packages, or to find your local dealer, call 01530 513000, or visit www.hormann.co.uk.
“Not only did the initiative help increase sales, but also, and perhaps more importantly, improved engagement and communication between our area sales managers and dealers. This is something we’ve been keen to build and improve on this year, so it’s great to see this kind of success.”
