James boosts specification team expertise

GEZE UK has further strengthened its specification team with the appointment of James White who takes up the role of specification manager, covering the south of England including south London, as part of the GEZE UK specification team expansion.

He was previously an area sales manager for the window technology team at GEZE UK, selling a range of window automation products and manual window control to window fabricators.

His new role will see him developing specifications with architectural practices across all GEZE product ranges, providing technical support and boosting the wider sales team.

Before joining GEZE UK last year, James worked as a business development manager for Somfy within its commercial building solutions division where he gained experience within specification working with M&E Consultants in solar shading solutions.

Previously, he worked as a key account manager for WindowMaster, selling natural ventilation solutions to façade market and building service contractors.

He is trained in computer aided design (CAD) and has the Automatic Doors Suppliers Association (ADSA) EN 16005 qualification. He also holds a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSC) card.

Outside of work, James is married with two children and is a keen mountain biker, golfer and fly fisherman.
He said: “I wanted to join GEZE due to the company’s history, reputation and strong product range.
“I hope that my role in developing specification for window technology, automatic doors and BAU products, will continue to make GEZE products the first choice for architects.”

Sales and marketing director of GEZE UK, Andy Howland commented:
“We are delighted that James has joined the specification team. His skills and experience will be a real asset in offering a first-class service of advice and support to professionals.”
