Archibald Kenrick & Sons renew membership with SBD

Suppliers of top-quality hardware for windows and doors, Archibald Kenrick & Sons, have renewed their membership with Secured by Design.

Kenrick’s started life as an iron founder in 1791, manufacturing buckles and livery fittings from our site in West Bromwich. Over 200 years later the company still manufacture from the same site, and as a part of the privately owned Spire Manufacturing now supplies quality window and door hardware to the trade.

Today Kenrick supplies a comprehensive and versatile range of Secured by Design approved products, designed and prototyped by their own team of designers and manufactured both in-house and with the cooperation of long-established manufacturing partners.

The introduction of the Centurian range followed the development of the Excalibur Door Lock, highlighting the company’s commitment to lock enhancement. Both of these ranges are SBD accredited.

Martin Smith, general manager at Kenrick, said:
“We are very pleased to continue our partnership with SBD, which underlines our commitment to provide the highest levels of security to our customers. SBD is recognised for quality and security and our accreditation demonstrates that our products have been extensively tested to achieve the highest standards, helping to provide peace of mind to the end user.”
Ruari Robertson, Secured by Design, said:
“I am thrilled that Archibald Kenrick & Sons have renewed their membership of SBD for a further three years. Having been members since 2002, it clearly demonstrates the worth and validity that SBD holds within the industry. I look forward to our continuing well-established relationship during this time.”
SBD is the only way for companies to obtain police recognition for security-related products in the UK.
