The Squire Stronghold SS80 closed shackle padlock

Designed to be the world’s strongest production padlock, Squire’s Stronghold® SS80 closed shackle padlock boasts an impressive 2kg solid steel lock body and a hardened boron steel shackle that is 16mm in diameter.

This British-made lock is extremely heavy duty and can withstand tensile pull forces of between 16 and 20 tonnes, making it ideal for use on warehouses, containers, lorries, high security doors and gates securing the perimeter of buildings. The patented design of the Stronghold® lock assures the highest levels of product performance, enabling it to offer superb protection against burglaries and vandalism.

The Squire padlock has been rigorously tested to ensure excellent quality and resistance against deliberate attacks, and has gained Loss Protection Certification Board (LPCB) approval. The lock also meets level three of the new Loss Prevention Standards (LPS) for standalone padlocks. Under the current testing regime, this is the highest approval level any padlock can achieve.

The Squire Stronghold® SS80 closed shackle padlock is priced at £139.00 ex VAT each and comes with Squire’s personal 10-year guarantee
