Garador’s Secured by Design Garage Doors Have Choice and Security

The UK’s leading garage door manufacturer, Garador, with its Yeovil based manufacturing plant has experienced real success with its Guardian garage doors

The Guardian Range of garage doors are a Secured by Design accredited Up and Over garage door, that has been designed to offer an additional level of security to homeowners. Secured by Design is a security standard developed by the UK Police Flagship Initiative with the aim of designing products that are more secure.

Guardian garage doors originally just included Horizon and Carlton models, but the Salisbury garage door model was introduced due to continued popular demand for the doors; so now homeowners have a variety of door models to choose from that all offer excellent security.

Garador’s Managing Director, Simon Hipgrave comments:
“The Salisbury door model is an interesting design, as it is not just a completely solid steel panel. It also features blacked out windows at the top of the door for the Secured by Design model which give the design of the door panel additional character and the wow factor.”
The entire Guardian range of garage doors have additional security features such as additional steel bracing on the rear of the door, improved locking security with heavy-duty plating to protect the locking systems at the bottom of the door and a reinforced lock body and anti-snap cylinder. With all of these additional features, up and over garage doors are more secure than ever before.
