New appointment expands Hörmann’s commercial department

Hörmann UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Jen Alderson to the newly created role of assistant commercial manager. Hörmann created this position to support the commercial department, ensuring that it continues to provide high levels of service despite customer demands.

In her new position, Jen will work alongside commercial manager, Amy Fisher, to lead the day-to-day management of the department and ensure that foundations are in place to support the release of new products. Jen will also be responsible for improving the department’s current processes, as well as building relationships with existing trade partners.

Jen has spent the majority of her career strengthening her skills in planning and customer service, allowing her to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to both the company and the role. Hörmann believe that Jen’s appointment will provide the commercial department with the support it needs to offer customers an experience that is as streamlined as possible.

Commercial manager, Amy Fisher, commented:
“The appointment of Jen is a really exciting one for the commercial department and we are delighted to be able to welcome her to the team. The experience that Jen has gained in previous roles will allow her to assist me in managing the department, as well as ensuring that we provide our customers with the service levels that they expect from the UK’s leading door manufacturer.”

Commenting on her new appointment, Jen said:
“I am delighted to have been appointed to support the team in the commercial department. The role allows me to use my experience in change management, team management, problem solving and customer service to help the team thrive and grow. I enjoy a challenge and I am looking forward to cementing a great team in place.”
