Burton Security meets tough standards with new protective walling system

Leading physical security company, Burton Security, has achieved Secured by Design accreditation for their new Embassy Impact Cassette Security Walling System, the first of its kind to reach the highest D300E attack rating under the new LPS 1673 standard.

Developed to address the growing need for enhanced protection, the new LPS 1673 standard sets rigorous requirements for safeguarding high-profile individuals from targeted attacks and violence in homes, the workplace and places of worship.

Designed for a quick and simple installation in residential properties and offices, the Embassy Cassette Walling provides a secure layer that can be retrofitted to existing walls, or used to create new partition walls. It offers robust security against violent attacks, threats, kidnap, aggravated burglary and the safeguarding of valuable assets, making it suitable for government officials, high profile individuals, corporate offices, embassies, hotels, safe rooms, hotels and luxury apartments.

Features of the secure partition walling system include:
  • Meets the latest LPS 1673 rating D300E offering 5 minutes delay against bladed weapons and violent intrusion
  • Offered with an optional ballistic upgrade to protect against firearms
  • Easy to assemble in a flat packed system
  • Each panel pushes together to interlock and can be easily decorated
  • Panels are built in different widths and heights options and can include light switches and plug sockets
  • Improves sound insulation and contains a fire retardant and thermally insulating filling
