Laidlaw Solutions has introduced its Finger Protection Solutions range, the brochure for which illustrates use of an integrated pivot set and curved full-height aluminium profile to provide a rigid shield covering the hinge gap.
Fitting can be on either the push or pull side of doors up to 54mm thickness, and adjustments made on site to offset wall or frame irregularities.Products provide FD30 or FD60 fire rating and 32-38dB acoustic performance.
For retro-fitting, in addition to an aluminium option a rigid plastic concertina design is also available. Suitable for doors with an opening angle up to 180°, it is fully UV resistant, available in a variety of RAL colours and used primarily in lower duty environments.
