Laidlaw Interiors Group gets a VIP Visit at BIG 5 2012 in Dubai

Laidlaw Interiors Group (LIG) CEO, John Jefferies, was pleased to welcome Prime Minister, David Cameron on to the LIG stand on the opening day of the Big 5 exhibition in Dubai on the 5th November.

Visiting the exhibition as part of his three day tour of the Middle East, Mr Cameron stepped on to the LIG stand to meet the team from LIG and speak to John Jefferies.

John said: “We’re delighted that Mr Cameron visited our stand at Big 5. It adds some real kudos to the LIG brand and its services whilst we are at the show.

"Our story of growth was fitting to his remit of promoting British manufacturing abroad. The famous front door at Number 10 is actually one of our Longden doors, so we were even able to have a chat about that!"

Offering doorsets, architectural ironmongery, balustrading, glazing, access control and partitioning solutions from within its divisions - Laidlaw, Saturn Architectural, Komfort, Leaderflush Shapland, Fitzpatrick, Longden, Cubicle Systems, Tufwell Glass and TDSL - LIG can provide a solution that meets most needs by combining its specialist expertise to deliver a ‘one stop shop’ for interior specification.

LIG has offices in Dubai and Qatar and has been specified in a number of prestigious projects across the region, including the Meydan grandstand, Zayed University, Sorbonne University and Eastern Mangroves Resort.
