New ENTRAsys fingerprint recognition system from SOMMER

SOMMER have introduced another add-on sales opportunity to their range of garage door and gate operators - the ENTRAsys fingerprint recognition unit.

It will be particularly appreciated by customers who don't want to carry a handset or keys and don't want to have to remember an access code. It's also ideal for multiple use applications as a large number of fingerprints can be stored and used.

The ENTRAsys is simple to use as the biometric recognition of a soft touch of a finger activates the remote control signal to operate the door or gate.

The unit can save up to 80 fingerprints with administrator privileges assigned to a maximum of 9 fingerprints.  Administrators can even delete single users during their absence should the need arise.

The secure Somloq rolling security code provides security against code copying and the latest generation swipe sensor reliably prevents activation by ineligible fingerprints.  Using 868.8 Mhz FM frequency, the unit has a range of approximately 50 metres, depending on surroundings and has 4 channels so different gates and doors can be operated from the same unit.

Mel Lovatt, UK Managing Director says
"If you're looking to offer extra value when you install an automatic garage door or gate, offer your customer a SOMMER ENTRAsys. They can be sure they'll always have their unique access authorisation with them. They can't forget it, drop it down the side of the car seat or leave it at work - in fact, it will always be at their fingertips."

For more information about the SOMMER ENTRAsys call SOMMER on 01904 60 87 87 or email Mel Lovatt at m.lovatt@sommeruk.com.
