Ironmongerydirect Appoints Merchandising Manager To Enhance Customer Experience

 
IronmongeryDirect, the UK’s largest online and mail order supplier of ironmongery products to the trade, has appointed a merchandising manager to further improve its already award winning service and drive the company forward.

As part of the new position, Edward Patten will be responsible for enhancing the customers’ shopping experience, with clear, innovative ideas and presentation of the 14,500 ironmongery and associated products featured in the catalogue and website channels, so that customers can make informed choices easily. He will also be responsible for providing day-to-day quality assurance of all the products in stock.

With over 20 years’ experience in merchandising, Edward is best placed to improve sales and maintain the firm’s excellent relationship with customers. He joins the company from Speciality Coffee Association of Europe where he held a leading role in the development of sales at exhibition level and via its e-commerce website.

Commenting on his appointment, Edward Patten said:

My aims include developing a strong and talented merchandising team, which will strive to advance our customers’ experience and continue to grow the business further.”
