MUL-T-LOCK DRIVES VAN SECURITY CAMPAIGN

Mul-T-Lock has launched a new ‘Lock Up Your Van’ campaign appealing to van owners to update their vehicle security in light of latest UK crime statistics.
With recent results showing over 225,000 vans are targeted on an annual basis, Mul-T-Lock is encouraging van operators and owners to consider simple security solutions to protect their vehicle and contents.

The ‘Lock up Your Van’ campaign will focus on the increasing number of thefts from vans left unlocked and unattended even for just a few minutes. Supporting marketing material including a sales video, brochure and installation guides alongside latest crime statistics and the Mul-T-Lock ArmaDLock security solution is available to download at www.armadlock.com
Steve Ross, Managing Director at Mul-T-Lock said:
“The statistics speak for themselves when it comes to van crime and will only increase with time and continue to have devastating affects - whether a sole trader, small or large fleet operator – the potential for loss of livelihood and significant cost implications is extremely significant.

“Mul-T-Lock has carefully constructed this campaign to provide all the necessary information in visual, written and film format to enable van owners to be proactive and benefit from easy to install security solutions that will not impact on any sign leverage or overall aesthetics.”
Mul-T-Lock has launched the campaign utilising its all in one ArmaDLock security device, designed uniquely for vans as a bolt on solution to act as a significance visual deterrent to the opportunist thief.

Designed to be professionally installed, and supplied with secure fixings, Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDLock® is an all in one non-corrosive lock body solution that offers no hanging parts that could damage the paintwork around the lock. The unique angled lock body of Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDLock® has been carefully created to deflect blows from a hammer and together with the steel locking bolt adds extra protection for the doors.

Steve concluded:
“ArmaDLock is the first in a series of product launches designed specifically for vehicles to offer the ultimate security. Our aim is to offer complete all-encompassing solutions that are easy to install, maintain and operate. At the same time, we want to continue to educate our audience and work with our locksmith partners across the UK and Ireland to raise awareness of issues around vehicle crime.”
