Full height door fitted in Sunray's test rig prior to test

Sunray, has achieved SR3 and SR4 security rating approval to Loss Prevention Certification Board standard LPS 1175: Issue 7 – for its inward opening steel doors up to a ‘full height’ of 3.075m.

Sunray, (one of the leading UK designers, manufacturers and installers of steel commercial doors, fire doors, certified security doors, industrial doors and steel louvre systems), are believed to be the first and only company in the UK to have achieved this for steel doors, covering the SR3 and SR4 Single, Leaf and a half and Double Door Range.

David Evans, Sunray’s Managing Director stated:

“Our customers, architects and designers are increasingly looking to combine certified security solutions with great aesthetic looks. They are incorporating high specification solutions into their designs and builds and our comprehensive range of bespoke door and louvre solutions meet their ever demanding needs.”
A choice of three thresholds and a range of Pickersgill-Kaye multipoint security locking systems is on offer; further expanding the already comprehensive choice of certified security doors and locking solutions available from Sunray.

When it comes to designing and manufacturing independently certified high security doors and products with high levels of physical attack resistance up to SR6 security rating to protect at risk commercial installations and high security national infrastructure, Ashford in Kent based Sunray constantly pushes forward the boundaries.
