Allegion names John Hiscock to Lead UK’s South West Business Team

Allegion UK – part of Allegion plc, a leading global security products and solutions provider – has named John Hiscock as business development manager of its business development team in the South West.

Hiscock joins Allegion from Siniat UK, where he held a similar position, working with channel partners, contractors and specifiers. Prior to Siniat UK, Hiscock was a territory manager for Travis Perkins.

His focus for Allegion will now be on the housebuilding market, expanding relationships with architects and contractors and assisting them with product specification. Hiscock will also be overseeing activity in healthcare, commercial and educational sectors as part of his role, and he will report to Simon Osborne, commercial leader of Allegion UK & Ireland.

“We are pleased to announce John Hiscock to the business development team in the South West,” said Simon Osborne. “John’s specific and in-depth experience of the construction and housebuilding industry will prove invaluable to our development in this area.”
Hiscock said that having a strong background within the construction industry means he’s familiar with Allegion’s brands and their reputations for quality.

“I chose to join Allegion because of my belief in this company’s leadership in the field of security and door hardware in UK,” said Hiscock. “Brands such as Briton, Legge and CISA all have leading product ranges that I am familiar with, and I am excited to use my expertise to develop new business for these brands.”
Allegion develops and manufactures a full range of door hardware and furniture, from door closers, locks, exit devices and levers through to fully integrated electronic access control solutions.
