XL Joinery announces partnership with the Lighthouse Club

XL Joinery, a market leading supplier of wooden doors and associated products, has announced its partnership with construction industry charity the Lighthouse Club.

The Lighthouse Club is a charity dedicated to providing financial and emotional support to construction workers and their families who have fallen on hard times.

The company has pledged to donate 25p from each sale of its Suffolk Essential doors to support the Lighthouse Club. The donation will help the charity continue to carry out its vital work and improve the safety and emotional wellbeing of construction workers.

Tim Wood, Marketing Manager at XL Joinery commented:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with the Lighthouse Club. The work it does to support construction workers and their families is vital for ensuring those in the industry feel supported both in and out of work. Recent data has shown that those working in construction are at high risk of suffering from mental health issues so we’re happy to do anything we can to support those suffering.”
Bill Hill, CEO of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, said:
“We’re extremely grateful for the donation from XL Joinery. We receive no public funding so rely on the generosity of those within the industry to help carry out our work. Thank you to the team there for their kind contribution!”

The Suffolk Range, a best-seller from XL Joinery, comprises of three internal oak doors each one boasting a solid core, superior heat retention and sound insulation. The range offers three options: Essential, Original and Statement each one suited to a different budget.
