CGT Screens Launches Range of Social Distancing Screens

As the UK starts to look beyond weeks of lockdown at what steps may need to be taken to get safely back to work, solutions such as ‘sneeze-screens’, staggering working hours and social distancing partitions are being actively explored by many companies.

Recognising that demand for these products would very quickly outstrip supply, CGT Security, a leading manufacturer of innovative security roller shutters and roller garage doors, have applied their manufacturing and product-development expertise to the new demand.

The CGT Screens range of protective screens currently consists of 4 core products:

  • CGT Commercial Screen – an aesthetic screen constructed from slimline and lightweight extruded aluminium with a polycarbonate screen, suitable for all commercial environments such offices and receptions.
  • CGT Industrial Screen – a heavy-duty protective partition designed for factories and warehouses, and other environments where there will be heavier and more robust usage.
  • CGT Medical Screen – the same concept as the CGT Commercial Screen but comes as standard with anti-viral coating that has been laboratory-certified to kill viruses 66% faster than non-coated surfaces.
  • CGT Site Screen – a rugged screen designed to enable social distancing on construction sites. This screen is also available with rugged castors allowing the screens to be redeployed around site as needed.

All CGT Screens can also be linked together, allowing them to be used to form longer barriers, or even to segment corridors to enforce a one-way system. The screens also use a polycarbonate infill, which is significantly more durable than Perspex or acrylic, and will not crack even on impact.

Another innovative feature of the CGT protective screens is the ability to add top-level extensions, which extends the protective surface, allowing the screens to be pushed up to the edge of a workbench or production line.

Experience and expertise within the manufacturing sector means CGT Screens can manage the entire production process from design to despatch, which in turn means bespoke requirements can easily be accommodated.

This could be anything from coating the protective screens in a bespoke colour or applying a corporate logo, through to an entirely bespoke screen construction.
