Durability, energy-efficiency and appearance are just a few of the key considerations you’ll need to keep in mind when searching for your next industrial door.

To assist, here is a Ten Point Q&A guide from leading supplier, Direct Industrial Doors

1. What product would you use in an opening more than 10m wide? Librum doors have unlimited opening widths and can be made up to 10m in height. Flux doors up to 12m.

2. Is your customer fed up of replacing bottom panels? With full view of opening when door in motion, this common replacement panel issue reduces dramatically.

3. Why open vertically? Up to 12m W x 6m H Liber doors require no bottom track and still retain class 4 wind resistance.

4. Do you have little head room? Our doors only ever require max. 300mm head room and therefore take up very little room.

5. Does your customer hit the doors too often? With doors opening 5x quicker, there’s much less risk of collision commonly associated with out of site out of mind mentality.

6. What’s the maximum size opening you can fill? Our doors can be up to 12m high and unlimited in width. Using our 55, 65, 80 and 120mm thick panels we can make a door to virtually fit any sized opening.

7. Are Fire Escapes required? Our threshold-less wicket doors solve this common problem offering no trip hazard through an emergency exit.

8. Is there manual release? Manual release systems are at low level making it easier to disengage the motor.

9. What’s the usage of the door?  If the door is to be used twice a day for example, why power it? Our doors can be manually operated at any size.

10. What applications? From insulated warehouses to architectural loading bays requiring louvres. Our standard, fully glazed or framed panels can suit virtually any opening.
