Yale has developed a comprehensive range of locks tailored specifically to suit the North American door and window market.
Aaron Jones, Export Manager for Yale said:
“Following the success of the Lockmaster multi-point door lock with our North American distributors, it became clear that there was an opportunity to develop a range of Yale locks specifically designed for the North American market. After extensive research with our existing and target customers, as well as distribution partners, we were able to scope out exactly what the market was missing and adapt and expand our current UK product range accordingly. We have developed a comprehensive range of high security locks suitable for PVC wood, fibreglass and aluminium doors, the range currently totalling over 100 SKU’s”
The versatile Yale range is designed to operate with both tail bar and euro profile options, as well as being able to fit both single and double door applications. Yale also has multipoint locks suitable for Entrance, French, Patio and Pivot doors.
As part of this project Yale has expanded its Lockmaster range to include Lockmaster 92 with multiple locking point options, developed the Auto Engage to meet specific US market requirements and a key operated lock variant has also been added to the range for completeness, covering every requirement in the entrance door market.
The Yale offering in North America will also include the Athena door hinge, Yale profile cylinders, the Yale Conexis® smart door lock and a range of Yale door handles totally different in design specifically for the US consumer market .
Clement Whittle, Principal Design Engineer (Technical) for Yale Door and Window Solutions, comments:
"We’re extremely pleased to launch this new range to distributors, fabricators and the fenestration retail market across North America. I feel it demonstrates our ability to adapt and expand our product offering, listening to customer and market requirements. To complement the launch, Yale have produced an extensive ‘USA Technical Manual for door hardware’ which will be available for distribution partners and customers in both print and digital options".
