Norseal goes down Wembley Way

Hundreds of Norseal fire and smoke seals are helping make a new student accommodation development safe and  protected in North London. Factory fitted on FD30 and FD60 fire doorsets from Dorplan, the seals offer a totally unobtrusive yet effective barrier to the passage of smoke and flames in the event of fire.

The Norseal Rigid Box Offset Flipper seals were fitted on Dorplan Expa-Fit doorsets which were supplied to the Albion Way as complete doorsets. Fire tested to BS 476-20:22 & BS EN 1634-1 and smoke tested to smoke tested to BS 476-31.1 & BS EN 1634-3, these Norseal intercalated graphite intumescent seals are suitable for FD30,60 and 90 timber fire doors and are available in black, white, brown, cream and grey.

Albion way was designed by architect Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher as a 253-bedroom student accommodation development in the Wembley Growth Area, in the London Borough of Brent just northwest of Wembley Stadium. The single storey workshop that was originally on the site has been replaced with this seventeen-storey brick-faced building with active commercial spaces at ground floor level.
