Barnfind Bonanza - Four Motorcycle Sidecars Discovered In A Gloucestershire Barn

Recently a pair of creaking barn doors swung open to reveal a jackpot – no fewer than four motorbikes with sidecars from the 1920s and 1930’s covered in the dust of two decades in deepest Gloucestershire.

They had been collected by the same family who loved motorbike sidecars. The four bikes were scheduled for a museum but that never happened.
Mark Bryan of H&H Classics Motorcycle Department, said: “Sometimes you just get lucky!”
All four motorcycles will be going under the hammer at H&H Classics next big bike sale at Donington Park on November 16th.

What Mark found in fabulous original condition were a 1924 AJS Model D Combo; a 1932 BSA G12 Combo used by the Bath City Police and still bearing the name; a 1930 BSA Sloper Combo; and a 1925 Quadrant Combo.
Mark commented: “It would have been a very happy result to find one of these marvellous old combos in the barn, to find four was amazing. I could barely believe it at first.”
Estimated prices he says would be:

1932 BSA G12 Combo, Bath City Police £16,000 - £18,000

 1924 AJS Model D Combo - £12,000 - £14,000

 1930 BSA Sloper Combo - £7,000 - £8,000

 1925 Quadrant Combo - £10,000 – £12,000
