Strengthen Your Sales With Strongbolt®, Says Union

UNION is asking builders merchants to review its stock profiling and make the most from extra sales by supplying the full UNION StrongBOLT® range.

Known for its superior strength and exceeding the requirements of BS3621:2007, the StrongBOLT® British Standard 5 lever mortice lock has been known for improving sales opportunities as it fulfils the requirements of most home insurance policies. However, builders merchants could achieve additional benefits by stocking the full StrongBOLT® range.

Part of UNION’s Professional locks range, 5 lever, 3 lever, bathroom locks and Euro and Oval profile cylinder lockcases are all available under the extended StrongBOLT® range.

Tina Hughan, Marketing Director of ASSA ABLOY, explains why UNION has extended its range to enhance builders merchant’s stock profiles:
“Quite rightly the British Standard 5 lever mortice lock is very popular amongst merchants and their customers, but the range is not limited to the one ‘hero’ product. We have diversified it to help merchants meet demand for a wider variety of locks.

“This clearly creates great potential for cross-selling and is also more manageable from a merchant’s point of view in terms of floor space and display. Installers will often need to carry multiple types of locks either to service a new build project or to be prepared for emergency repair and retrofit jobs, and having this complete offering from StrongBOLT® ensures the quality and durability on all products from bathroom locks to front doors.”

All variants are available in both satin stainless steel and polished brass finishes, and are supplied in an attractive visi-pack to aid stocking and display.
