Squire Introduces ‘Stormproof’ Cover for its Stronghold® Padlocks

A super-tough, all-weather cover has been introduced by Squire with its new Stronghold® Stormproof SS50 and SS65 CEN grade and LPCB approved hi-security padlocks.

Squire’s distinctive black ‘X’ design cover has been designed to fully protect the lock body and key cylinder from exposure to the elements of rain, snow, ice and the sun.

It is made of highly durable, high impact ABS giving the lock excellent resistance against extreme weathers, dirt and sand.

The covers come in two widths of 50mm and 65mm and are recommended to protect Squire’s Stronghold® padlocks against the elements for perimeter gates, warehouses, heavy goods vehicles, trailers, high security doors and garages.

Managing director John Squire, whilst commenting on the outstanding protection against the environment they offer said:

“These superior quality padlock covers have numerous all-weather applications and they are easy to handle in cold conditions. They reflect our commitment to creating new and innovative products.”
